Required Tests and Sending Scores

Nearly all schools accept the ACT in lieu of the SAT1.   For some students, there is a preference. The SAT is a considerably longer exam.  Make sure to take the ACT with Writing Sample.  Some schools require you to send scores of all exams taken. Some schools will take your best combined score across several test taking.

SATIIs (Subject tests) are required at the more competitive institutions.
